Common Questions

Got questions about your next fishing trip? We’ve got answers!

Bring sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, light clothing, and non-slip shoes. A small towel and camera/phone. If you’re prone to motion sickness, take medication 30–60 minutes before departure. We provide all fishing gear, bait, licenses, water and soft drinks; you’re welcome to bring extra snacks. (Please avoid glass bottles.)

Yes. Our inshore trips are ideal for families and first-timers—calmer waters, shorter runs, and kid-size gear. The crew is patient and bilingual, and we have life vests in multiple sizes. For children, we generally recommend half-day or ¾-day durations.

Light rain is common and trips often run as planned. Safety is our priority—the captain will assess sea conditions. If weather makes it unsafe, we’ll reschedule your charter (or offer a credit/alternative per our policy). We’ll confirm any changes with you as early as possible.

It depends on season and the trip you choose:

  • Inshore: snapper, roosterfish, jack, grouper, mackerel.
  • Deep Sea (offshore): mahi-mahi (dorado), yellowfin tuna, sailfish, marlin, wahoo.
We’ll tailor techniques (trolling, casting, jigging, bottom fishing) to current conditions to maximize your chances.
